The Ocelots - Everything, When Said Slowly (Vinyl)

Twin brothers Ashley and Brandon Watson grew up in Wexford and now write from Leipzig, and that distance runs right through their second album. Everything, When Said Slowly takes the folk-rock of their debut somewhere richer and more expansive, produced by Cillian and Lorcan Byrne of Basciville. The songs circle Irish migration, the way time stretches and folds, love, and the small pleasure of a bike ride.

The title comes from an old Wexford man reflecting on everyone who had left the town over the years. A very long time if you let it settle, no time at all if you say it fast. The whole record sits in that gap.
