The debut album from the Glaslough, Co. Monaghan composer, released on Rubyworks in October 2025. Duffy arrived seemingly from nowhere in 2022 when Solas, a piano piece recorded in a single sitting, became the biggest debut by an Irish artist since Hozier's Take Me To Church. Three years on, this self-titled record is where the story catches up with the hype, forged between Ireland and Iceland with BAFTA-winning producer Atli Örvarsson.

The sound is folk-classical in the truest sense, piano and tin whistle woven through cinematic orchestration, rooted in rural Monaghan but shaped by wild Atlantic and Icelandic coastlines, Irish folklore, love, light and trepidation. Solas is here in its original untouched form alongside Into the West and a set of new pieces that move between intimate and enormous. One of the most exciting young composers on the island, signed to an Irish independent when every major came calling.
