Autre Monde – The Imaginary Museum (Vinyl)

Debut album from the Dublin band, released on Strange Brew in February 2020. Formed out of the Popical Island collective in 2017 by Paddy Hanna, Padraig Cooney, Mark Chester and Eoghan O'Brien, drawing on their time in Grand Pocket Orchestra, Ginnels, No Monster Club and Skelocrats. Recorded across sessions from summer 2018 with Daniel Fox of Girl Band producing, it moves from art pop and post punk towards something warmer, with folk melodies and a debt to Roxy Music and Eno. Includes the singles Fever in May, On the Record and Brain Upon Your Pillow.
